New ruler graduated in mm. Circular scribing blade. Micrometric adjustment of the measurement by rotation of the plate: 1 turn = 0.8mm.

This innovative tool, manufactured in Ontario by Veritas, allows for fine, highly precise marking without damaging the wood fibers. The circular steel blade is beveled only on the inside, ensuring a consistently straight line, even when marking with the grain. It can also be used against the grain, on cross-grain or end grain.

An internal seal (ring) maintains constant friction on the steel shaft, making the marking gauge easy to adjust. A fine adjustment located at the rear of the base plate allows for high precision: 1/4 turn = 0.2 mm. Hardened steel blade, black anodized aluminum base plate.
