Veritas radius compass heads (Ref. 05N5005) are essential marking accessories for the carpenter or cabinetmaker wishing to make precise arcs and circles with a traditional beam compass: the radius range is limited only by the length of the rod used.

Made from durable, corrosion-resistant stainless steel, these points can be used to mark or trace on various materials — wood, aluminum, brass, bronze, or mild steel.

The knurled surface of the heads makes them easy to grip and tighten onto the compass. When the removable points are taken off, they become square stops, making the compass also useful for repetitive straight line drawing.
