The Veritas magnetic dovetail system is designed to guide the saw when cutting the sides of dovetails. Thanks to its integrated magnets, the saw blade is held against the guide throughout the cut, ensuring a consistent bevel without angle variation.

Each item includes two magnetic guides:

one for the left flank cut,

one for the right flank cut,
allowing for the complete assembly to be carried out with perfect symmetry.

The choice between the two models depends on the desired assembly style:

05T0211 – 9° / 1:6
Corresponds to classic dovetail joints, with a more pronounced slope.
This ratio is traditionally used to achieve a visually striking assembly.

05T0212 – 7° / 1:8
Corresponds to straighter dovetails, with a gentler slope.
This ratio is appreciated for a more discreet and refined finish.
