These sharpening sets, consisting of two Japanese stones, are specially designed for the maintenance of carving tools and gouges, whether restoring an edge or polishing it.

Each set includes:
- a flat main stone with hollow profiles (multiple radii) adapted to external cutting edges,
- a small convex stone to refine the inside of bevels or reach difficult areas.

These stones operate with water, creating a fine abrasive slurry that improves the cutting edge while reducing heat. The choice of grit depends on the desired level of sharpness:
- 1000 grit: medium/fine, ideal for restoring a clean and progressive edge to already dull tools or during regular maintenance.
- 4000 grit: very fine, suitable for finishing phases for a smooth, precise and durable cutting edge, particularly appreciated on delicate carving tools.
