This Veritas combination set brings together two complementary tools to expand the possibilities of manual machining in a workshop:

The 05P5371 rebate plane is a specialized plane designed for cutting wide rebates with good efficiency. It features a side guide that makes it easier to maintain the correct positioning of the plane against the workpiece, which is particularly useful for panelled and other wide shapes.

The 05P3006 variable angle guide attaches to the shanks of the rebates and the rebate and allows the cut to be adapted to any adjustable angle between approximately 45° and 135°. The angle is set with a square or protractor, then the guide is locked in place for consistent and precise cuts, including angled notches.

This set is particularly useful when working on complex pieces or when clean and repeatable angular transitions are needed in rebates, moldings or decorative or functional fittings.
