Additional information

Microplane rasps are workshop tools designed for shaping, leveling and removing material from wood with a very smooth surface finish, comparable to wood that has been scraped or sanded with fine abrasive.

This result is made possible by hundreds of razor-sharp micro-blades etched onto the surface of the stainless steel plate. Hardening to approximately 60 Rockwell ensures excellent cutting performance and durability far superior to that of traditional graters.

Two versions of rectangular blades are available:
- Fine teeth – for delicate finishing, cleaning or shaping work where surface condition matters.
- Large teeth – for faster material removal, roughing or parts requiring more effortless removal.

These blades are offered as replacement blades only and are adaptable to the Microplane basic set (ref. 704203).
