The Veritas No. 5 1/4 plane is an intermediate workshop plane, often called a half-plane. It is specially designed for flattening medium to large surfaces, giving your wood pieces the flatness and regularity essential before finishing or assembly.

Its flat and perfectly rectified sole ensures complete contact with the material, and the precision-machined edges guarantee a clean, stable and vibration-free plane trajectory.

This model is equipped with a 50mm wide A2 steel blade, robust enough to work larger surfaces while maintaining a regular cut.
