The Veritas file holder (Ref. 05M0701) is a sharpening accessory specifically designed for cabinetmaker's scrapers. It allows a file to be fixed at a 90° angle to the scraper, thus ensuring a regular and precise shaping of the scraper's sides before they are passed over a sharpening stone.

This precise file support ensures that the scraper edge is perfectly flat and uniform across its entire width, which is essential for optimal performance when scraping wood. The device is lightweight, easy to handle, and suitable for use both in the workshop and on a workbench.

The file holder is sold separately (file not included) and accepts common file types up to a maximum thickness of 5 mm. It is compatible with several file models available on the same website.
