Lignea, Chinese Tung oil, is a traditional natural product renowned for its protective qualities on wood. Extracted from the nuts of the Tung tree, this product penetrates the wood quickly before hardening as it dries, forming a flexible protective layer that enhances the grain and natural appearance of the material without darkening it over time.

Compared to other oils, especially linseed oil, tung oil offers better durability and increased resistance to mold, making it an ideal choice for furniture, parquet flooring, terraces, sculptures, woodturning, and outdoor elements.

It can be used both indoors and outdoors and can be applied with a brush or cloth, in several successive coats depending on the desired level of protection. It can be thinned with turpentine and mixed with other oils (such as camellia or linseed oil) to adjust its properties or final appearance according to your preferences.
