The Japanese Kataba Speed Saw 265 is a backless saw with a modern design, designed for demanding users who want to combine the traditional efficiency of the kataba with contemporary ease of use.

Its 265 mm blade with a fine tooth spacing (1.7 mm) is optimized for crosscuts, allowing common operations such as ripping, crosscutting, tenoning and mitre cuts to be performed with a clean and controlled cut line.

The ergonomic, butt-shaped handle, covered with a rubberized grip, increases comfort and reduces effort when pulling, making the tool more pleasant even during prolonged use.

A quick blade replacement system integrated into the handle (lever) allows the blade to be changed without tools, facilitating maintenance and the commissioning of a new blade.

This saw can also be used in conjunction with the saw guide ref. 2194 for even more precise and repeatable cuts.
