The Kataba Restauro 100 Japanese saw is a backless model designed for precision work, fine restoration or access in confined spaces where a conventional saw would be too bulky.
It is equipped with a compact 100 mm blade featuring very fine teeth and no set: the teeth are not laterally offset, which greatly reduces the risk of scratching the workpiece when making flush cuts or delicate trimming. This type of tooth design is particularly valued for very fine operations such as instrument restoration, lutherie, or joinery requiring precision and finesse.
