The Model 465 hatchet is hand-forged by Gransfors Bruks, a Swedish leader in forged tools for over 100 years. Made from high-carbon steel, it is forged for an extended period and then hardened to 57 HRC, guaranteeing excellent edge retention and long service life.

Its overall balance allows for versatile use: powerful enough for efficient cuts, while maintaining good precision for more demanding tasks. The handle, made of American hickory hardwood, ensures comfort, vibration absorption, and long-lasting reliability.

Each hatchet is stamped with the initials of the master blacksmith who crafted it and delivered perfectly sharpened with a leather cover, a testament to the artisanal know-how of Gransfors Bruks.
