The Scandinavian forestry axe model 430 is a tool designed for comprehensive use in the forest, combining reach, precision, and efficiency. Hand-forged by Gransfors Bruks, it is made of high-carbon steel, forged for an extended period and then hardened to 57 HRC, guaranteeing excellent edge retention and high reliability in the field.

Its thin, elongated blade allows for efficient penetration into the wood, making it suitable for felling small and medium-sized trees as well as for shaping and limbing. The long hickory handle, of American origin, provides good leverage while maintaining excellent control.

Each axe is marked with the master blacksmith's initials and delivered perfectly sharpened with a leather sheath, ready for demanding forestry use.
