Product care instructions:
Cleaning after use: wipe away wood chips and dust to protect the cutting edge.
Dry thoroughly: avoid prolonged moisture on the steel to limit corrosion.
- Sharpening: although factory sharpened, these gouges can be sharpened; use water stones or abrasives adapted to the angled profile to maintain optimal sharpness without altering the original geometry.

- Dry storage: keep the tool in a dry place or a case to prevent oxidation and protect the sharp edges.

The Pfeil Swiss made Series No. 2 Angled Gouge is a specialized wood carving tool, designed to facilitate access to concave, oblique or hard-to-reach areas that are difficult to reach with a traditional straight gouge.
The angled profile raises the angle of attack of the tool relative to the cutting plane, allowing the sculptor to attack the material with a more natural movement, particularly useful for complex reliefs, hollows and other concave parts.

Each cutting width corresponds to a specific application:
- 1 mm: extremely thin for delicate details and micro-adjustments.
- 5 mm: detailing and slight removal.
- 8 mm: moderate material removal in narrow or inclined areas.
- 12 mm & 16 mm: versatile for complex sculpted surfaces.
- 20 mm: wider clearance under angle, suitable for larger volumes.
