Hard-to-reach areas: carving in hollows, cavities and inside corners where a straight gouge cannot be used effectively.

Product care instructions:
- Cleaning after use: wipe away wood chips and dust to preserve the cutting edge.
- Wipe & dry: avoid prolonged moisture on the steel to limit corrosion.
- Sharpening: although factory sharpened, these gouges can be sharpened; use water stones or abrasives suitable for the offset profile to maintain a sharp edge without altering the original geometry.
- Maintaining the handle: if the handle is made of wood, occasionally apply a wood oil or wax to preserve grip comfort and durability.
- Storage: Keep in a dry place, ideally in a case or blade protector to prevent oxidation and accidental impacts.
