The swiveling jaw vise is a versatile workbench clamping accessory, designed to hold pieces of wood or other materials firmly and securely during machining, fitting, marking or carving operations.
Its extremely robust cast steel design, combined with swiveling jaws, allows for clamping parts of various geometries — including conical, curved, handles or profiled elements — more effectively than a traditional vise with fixed jaws.

An important feature is its 360° swivel base: once installed or fixed to the workbench using the supplied fixing screw (large square thread and wing nut), the vise can be oriented in the most suitable direction for the work to be carried out without moving the workpiece.

The clamping jaws are made of hardwood covered on the inside with a soft polyurethane, which ensures effective pressure while protecting the sensitive surfaces of the clamped parts from marks or deformations.

This tool is particularly recommended for users such as luthiers, cabinetmakers, furniture restorers and sculptors, who frequently work with pieces of complex or non-parallel shapes.
