The thickness gauge allows for precise control of the wood thickness of the tops and backs of musical instruments (violin, cello, guitar, etc.). It features a cast aluminum frame equipped with a dial indicator, similar to a watch, graduated to 1/100th of a mm. It has a measuring capacity of up to 30 mm in thickness.
