Additional information

The abrasive sharpening paste, very fine grain, is designed as a complementary sharpening accessory for cutting tools (chisels, gouges, plane irons, etc.).
It is used on a leather strip or on felt honing discs — these supports allow the abrasive paste to be rubbed against the edge of the tool in a controlled manner.

The very fine grain of the paste makes it possible to eliminate the micro-irregularities left by the coarse sharpening and to bring the cutting edge to a very smooth finish, close to a "mirror polish".

This is an ideal step after main sharpening (stones, belts or coarser abrasive discs) to optimize cutting quality and extend the life of the wire.
