The Jaw Sharpening Guide is an accessory designed to facilitate the manual sharpening of cutting tools such as wood chisels and plane blades.
Designed for use with a sharpening stone (not supplied), it acts like a vise: the tool blade is held centered in one of the two grooves of the guide, ensuring stability and precision.

The width of blades supported is wide — from 5 mm to 80 mm — making this guide suitable for common uses in carpentry and cabinetmaking.

The key feature of this tool is the adjustable sharpening angle:
- the further the blade is advanced in the guide, the longer the bevel will be (ideal for softwood),
- the further back the blade is, the shorter the bevel will be (preferable for hardwood).

This provides great flexibility to adapt the sharpening profile to the tool and material you are working with.
