Oire Nomi Maru Japanese wood chisels are designed for perfectionist sculptors and cabinetmakers who seek tools with superior quality blades. Each blade is hand-forged, a process that tightens and aligns the steel molecules in the same direction, producing a very dense steel that yields exceptionally sharp and durable edges.

The scissors are pre-sharpened in the workshop, but it is advisable to finish sharpening them on a waterstone (ideally a Japanese one) to fully utilize the cutting potential of these blades. The handles are made of very hard Japanese red oak, with a steel ferrule to reinforce the tool and ensure a better grip when striking.

The full-grain leather case or suede case allows you to store and transport your scissors safely.
