- Wipe and dry: limit any prolonged exposure to moisture to preserve the steel.
- Lightly oil the blade before storage if it will not be used for a long time, in order to prevent corrosion.
- Check the condition of the handle: ensure that the rubberized grip remains intact and clean to maintain a good grip.
- Store flat or hanging: to avoid any accidental bending of the blade.
- Change the blade as needed.

The Ryoba 180 Razorsaw Japanese saw is a traditional hand cutting tool designed for precision work in woodworking and cabinetmaking.
