Product care instructions:
- Clean the blade after use: remove wood residue and dust.
- Change the HSS blade as soon as the cutting edge weakens to maintain a clean planing.

- Store in a dry place to preserve the wood-to-metal fit and cutting quality.

The Japanese Katsu Kanna plane is a traditional Japanese wood planing tool, designed to provide a clean, stable and consistent cutting action without the delicate operation of sharpening the blade yourself.
Unlike traditional planes that require manual sharpening of the blade before each use, this model is equipped with interchangeable HSS (High Speed ​​Steel) blades. These blades, produced with exceptional hardness, allow for immediate planing upon installation, without lengthy preparation on a stone. They fit perfectly into a slot machined into the plane's solid iron, absorbing vibrations generated during use and resulting in a perfectly smooth and clean cut.

The Katsu Kanna is available in several blade widths to suit different needs:
