PVM11 Steel: Produced using powder metallurgy, Veritas' innovative PVM11 steel, despite its high hardness (61-63 HRC), is very easy to sharpen and produces a razor-sharp edge on standard sharpening stones. Thanks to its extra-fine and consistent material structure and high hardness, this steel offers twice the cutting durability of A2 steel, even when creating long bevels (20°). All blades come with a 2° micro-bevel.

With its elegant design, this plane, the smallest in the Veritas range, fits perfectly in the palm of your hand. Furniture restorers, luthiers, and cabinetmakers will find this magnificent and remarkably efficient tool indispensable! The blade can be precisely adjusted using the knurled brass knob located behind the handle. The light under the plane is not adjustable.
