This hybrid plane is ideal for precise finishing work, such as tenon shoulders.

Its robust design features a precisely machined sole and rigid construction. The thick blade (to eliminate chatter and vibration during use) is made of T10 tool steel and hardened by quenching to approximately Rc60-63 to maintain its edge perfectly in a wide variety of wood species. The combination of a 25° sharpening bevel and a low blade angle (12°) allows for controlled material removal, even in hardwoods or woods with difficult grain.

This plane is useful for:

cleaning shoulders or internal surfaces
shaping tenons and clean edges,
planing corners or narrow areas,
precision work where a standard block plane might lack control.
