Veritas Plane and Chisel

Designed to hold a 25mm chamfered chisel or something similar at a 45° angle, the body of this chisel plane, made of ductile iron, has the same cutting angle as workshop planes. The result is a small plane just as effective as a rabbet plane, which can be used for finishing rabbets and tenons.

The Veritas 05P2101 chisel plane is an ingenious tool designed to transform a chamfered chisel of approximately 25 mm into an efficient small plane.

Thanks to its design, the ductile iron body has a cutting angle identical to that of workshop planes, which allows for controlled and precise cutting performance comparable to that of a small traditional rabbet plane.
