The Veritas 05P7401 paring plane is designed for delicate finishing work in carpentry and cabinetmaking. Thanks to its exposed full-width blade, it allows for finishing cuts even in narrow or hard-to-reach areas, where a chisel would be less practical.

This plane is ideal for:

-clean the corners and joints inside a carcass,
-remove plugs or small encrustations without marking the surrounding surface.

The sole and sides, made of durable ductile iron, are precision machined and honed to ensure they are flat and square. Molded grooves in the sides improve grip, and the wide, angled pommel provides optimal comfort during use.

The blade is adjusted via a dial which controls the cutting depth, while four set screws position the blade stably and reliably in the tool body.
