The 42mm toothed plane is a woodworking and marquetry tool designed to efficiently prepare wood surfaces. Unlike traditional planes with a smooth blade, its toothed edge features fine teeth that regularly cut into the wood surface as it passes over it.

This toothed blade is particularly useful when you want to quickly straighten an uneven surface, promote the adhesion of glues on pieces of wood to be assembled, especially for the application of veneers, marquetry or laminates, because the grooves created increase the contact surface and facilitate the penetration of the glue.

In addition, the toothed plane is also used for quickly straightening large surfaces, removing minor irregularities, or creating a controlled texture before finishing operations. Its 42 mm width allows it to cover a significant area in just a few passes, increasing efficiency for preparatory or repetitive work.
