The King 1000/6000 stone combines two complementary grain sizes.
The 1000 grit allows you to effectively restore and sharpen the edge, while the 6000 grit ensures a fine finish and a particularly sharp edge.

Like all Japanese engineered stones, it has an open-grained structure composed of purified abrasive oxides bound together by a specific binder. This structure promotes the formation of a light abrasive slurry when used with water, allowing for consistent and effective abrasion.

The adjustable stainless steel stone holder securely holds the stone during sharpening. It prevents unwanted movement and ensures a stable position, thus improving precision and safety.

This set provides a simple and effective solution for sharpening in the workshop, suitable for both kitchen knives and woodworking tools.
