The medium splitting axe is designed for everyday splitting tasks, where good efficiency is needed without resorting to an overly heavy tool. Hand-forged by Gransfors Bruks, it is made of high-carbon steel, forged for an extended period and then hardened to 57 HRC, guaranteeing robustness and longevity.

Its flared blade geometry is specifically designed to open the wood fibers after impact, making it easier to split medium-sized logs. The American-made hickory handle offers a secure grip and good power transmission while reducing fatigue during extended use.

Each axe is stamped with the initials of the master blacksmith and delivered perfectly sharpened with a leather cover, a guarantee of artisanal quality and reliability.
