Japanese Tsubaki camellia oil is a light oil extracted from the seeds of the camellia (Tsubaki), traditionally used for the maintenance of cutting tools.
Its fine and non-acidic composition gives it natural antioxidant properties, making it particularly suitable for protecting the metal surfaces of high-carbon steel tools — materials which, although very efficient at cutting, are also susceptible to corrosion if not properly maintained.

The oil comes in a convenient 10 cl plastic bottle, perfect for applying a thin layer to your tool blades. After application, it is recommended to wipe with a soft cloth, which leaves no greasy residue while ensuring long-lasting protection.
