Pfeil Swiss-made luthier's knives , specialized carving tools for fine woodworking (lutherie, marquetry, etc.), available in six edge widths (3.5 mm to 19 mm) . Forged and tempered steel blade, sharpenable along its entire length and ready to use.

Product care instructions:
- Cleaning: wipe away shavings and dust after each use to preserve the sharpness of the cutting edge.
- Dry thoroughly: avoid prolonged moisture to limit corrosion of the steel.
- Sharpening: thanks to full-length hardening, these knives are fully sharpenable; use suitable water stones or abrasives to maintain an optimal edge without compromising the bevel profile.
- Handle maintenance: if the handle is made of wood, occasionally apply wood oil or wax to preserve comfort and durability.
- Dry storage: keep the tool in a clean, dry place or in a cover to protect the blade and prevent oxidation.

Pfeil Swiss-made luthier's knives are highly specialized cutting tools, designed particularly for instrument making, marquetry, inlay, and fine carving. The blade, forged and hardened along its entire length, achieves a hardness of 59–60 HRC, giving it a long-lasting edge while remaining sharpenable along its entire length—an advantage for users who maintain their own tools.

With a blade length of 160 mm and a uniform thickness of approximately 2 mm, these knives are balanced for precise and controlled movements. The blade features a double bevel, making them suitable for a variety of woodworking tasks: marking, trimming, contouring, and delicate finishing.
