In a traditional European style, the scissors made by Ulmia feature a blade forged from a chromium-molybdenum alloy steel for superior sharpness and extended cutting life. The steel is hardened to 60 Rockwell by heating it in electric furnaces, ensuring better heat distribution and optimal steel uniformity. The blades are then ground before the board is precisely surfaced, guaranteeing perfect flatness. Polishing and sharpening follow before the handles are fitted with hornbeam hardwood, reinforced with two steel ferrules. This presentation and carrying case includes six scissors in widths of 6, 10, 12, 16, 20, and 26 mm.

This Ulmia set contains six traditional European-style wood chisels, designed for demanding cutting, joining, and fitting work. The blades are forged from an alloy steel containing chromium and molybdenum, offering excellent sharpness and long cutting life.

The blades are hardened to 60 Rockwell by heating in electric furnaces, ensuring even heat distribution and consistent steel quality. They are then ground, precisely surfaced for perfect flatness, polished, and sharpened before being fitted with a handle.

The handles are made of hornbeam hardwood, a material known for its strength, and reinforced by two steel ferrules to withstand work with a mallet.
The scissors are delivered sharpened but not polished; a perfect finish of the bevels is quickly obtained by passing them over a fine-grit stone.

The wooden box allows for neat storage and secure transport of the set.
