Ulmia wood chisels are among the go-to tools for discerning carpenters and cabinetmakers. While not the cheapest on the market, they offer one of the best compromises between strength, quality, and durability for intensive use.

Entirely forged and machined in Germany, these scissors feature a traditional European shape and impeccable workmanship.
The blades are made from an alloy steel containing chromium and molybdenum, ensuring a durable edge and excellent cutting performance.

The hardening is carried out at 60 Rockwell by heating in electric furnaces, ensuring a homogeneous distribution of heat and optimal regularity of the steel.
The blades are then ground, and the board is precisely leveled to achieve perfect flatness. After polishing and sharpening, the chisels are fitted with hornbeam hardwood handles, reinforced by two steel ferrules to withstand hammering.
