The 30mm angled carpenter's roughing chisel is a traditional tool used by carpenters specializing in notching, fitting, and shaping thick pieces of wood (tenons, mortises, timber framing joints, etc.). Its angled blade facilitates work in hard-to-reach areas or for specific cutting angles that a standard straight chisel would not allow.

The blade is forged from hardened carbon steel with a small amount of added chromium (less than 1%) to improve edge retention without compromising cutting quality. The blade surfaces – the cutting edge and three other faces – are fully ground to ensure a precise, consistent, and efficient cut right out of the box.
