Pfeil Swiss short chisels are high-end traditional carving tools, made from forged steel hardened to approximately 63 RC to ensure a durable edge hold even on dense wood.
Their compact shape and short blade (50 mm) make them particularly effective in hard-to-reach areas, fine details, thread fitting, finishing assemblies or delicate hollows.

The trapezoidal section (relief) of the blade allows for precise following of a line, even a curved one, without the risk of the chisel getting stuck during use.

Each chisel is supplied with a boxwood handle fitted with a steel ferrule which protects the wood from mallet blows and provides a stable and comfortable grip.
