Each gauge has a support face at each end, which allows it to rest firmly against the workpiece and obtain a clean trace, for both tails and counter-tails.

They are made of anodized aluminum, in two different colors, to immediately identify the slope being used without risk of error. Their compact size makes them easy to handle and store.
